I often get asked, "how do you build a sales funnel"? I've spent well over six-figures on my funnel building education, built multiple funnels for myself and for customers and in this blog I'll share some of the key things I've learnt about building online sales funnels, things to avoid and the quickest way to get results.
As a business owner or expert, you know that building a successful sales funnel is crucial to growing your business and making more sales. But if you're like many people, the thought of building a sales funnel can feel overwhelming, especially if you're not sure where to start. In this blog post, we'll break down the process of building a sales funnel in simple terms, so you can start creating one for your business today.
Before we dive into the steps, let's quickly define what a sales funnel is and why it's important. A sales funnel is a series of steps that a potential customer goes through on their way to making a purchase. It's called a funnel because the number of people moving through each step of the process gets smaller as they get closer to making a purchase. The purpose of a sales funnel is to guide your potential customer through different stages, until they're ready to make a purchase. By using a sales funnel, you'll be able to convert more leads into customers and ultimately increase your revenue.
Step 1: Identify your target audience
The first step in building a sales funnel is to identify who your target audience is. This is the group of people who are most likely to be interested in what you have to offer. By understanding your target audience, you'll be able to create content and offer that resonate with them and increase the chances that they'll make a purchase.

After someone has given you their contact information, it's important to redirect them to a thank you page. This page should confirm that their request has been received and also include next steps. For example, you can include a link to download the lead magnet or invite them to sign up for a webinar.
Step 5: Set up email follow-up
Once you have someone's contact information, it's important to start building a relationship with them. This is where email follow-up comes in. You can use email to provide value, educate them about your products or services, and ultimately guide them towards making a purchase.
Step 6: Create a sales page
After you've built a relationship with your lead and provided them with valuable information, it's time to create a sales page. A sales page is a page where you present your products or services and invite your lead to make a purchase. It's important to keep the page focused on the benefits of the products or services and make it easy for the lead to make a purchase.
Step 7: Set up a thank you page
